What we collect through enquiries, event RSVPs, and gifts—and how we use it.
This notice covers enquiries, SSF event RSVPs, and one-time or monthly gifts made through this website. SSF uses your information to respond, manage RSVPs, process and verify gifts, manage monthly gifts, and meet record-keeping duties.
Information collected
An enquiry may include your name, email, organization, topic, and message. An RSVP includes your name, email, and phone number. You can separately opt in to SSF updates; this is not required to reserve a place. A personal giving invitation may include a recipient name and note entered by SSF staff. A gift may include your name, email, amount, currency, payment reference, and status. For monthly gifts, the site also records the amount, number of payments, plan status, and each successful payment reference. Paystack handles card details; SSF does not store them.
Service providers
The site stores enquiry, RSVP, gift, personal giving-link, and staff sign-in records in its database. Resend sends RSVP confirmations, enquiry and staff notifications, and staff sign-in links. Paystack handles checkout, monthly charges, and payment verification. The site does not collect Core Web Vitals. Anonymous device-category measurements from an earlier version may remain in storage; they do not identify visitors. Staff sign-in records may include IP addresses and browser details for security.
How long information is kept
Enquiries, RSVP contact details, and personal giving-link details are deleted after 180 days. Donor names and emails are removed after 180 days. Non-identifying gift and monthly-plan records may be kept for approved financial and legal record-keeping. If you opt in to SSF updates, each email has an unsubscribe link.
